About Us
Barbara Ferrero, owner of Massage Timeout, LLC, has been providing massage therapy to thousands of clients since 1998 at the Orlando and Winter Park, Florida, clinics of Sport Specific Training & Rehabilitation (SST).
Barbara is also an on-call massage therapist at La Nouba, Cirque du Soleil in Disney World since 2006.
Barbara is a licensed massage therapist (LMT) and neuromuscular therapist (NMT). In addition to working with professional and elite athletes, Barbara provides treatment to stressed office workers, victims of accidents, expectant mothers—and other massage therapists.
Barbara began her relationship to health and healing by attending nursing school and working for several years in hospitals in Huntington, New York, and Salt Lake City, Utah, as well as for the physicians of the Bountiful Orthopedic Group in Utah.
After raising her children, she trained at the Central Florida School of Massage Therapy in 1998. She continues to expand her skills and maintain certifications in the field of massage therapy, including Neuromuscular Therapy under Judith Delany and Active Isolated Stretching under Aaron Mattes.
Clients from all walks of life come to Barbara by word-of-mouth and physician referral. Barbara has earned a reputation as a caring and competent therapist who emphasizes deep tissue therapy.
Barbara is a professional member of the American Massage Therapy Association.
